Magic, Fate and Mystery

I am a fan of Toddynho, a chocolate milkshake produced by PepsiCo and sold in Brazil. WP_20150724_07_24_57_Pro

I feel that kids have an incredible imagination, and have the power to change the fate of people, with magic and a smile. This morning I woke up with this song in my head, coming from a Japanese manga i used to watch when I was a kid, the Italian version and jingle song was called “Johnny, é quasi magia” ( Johnny, it is almost magic- in Japanese the cartoon series is called Shin Kimagure Orange Road) and it tells the story of a boy able to move objects in the air and read people’ minds. The song (here) sang by the Italian singer par excellence dedicated to sing songs for kids, Cristina D’Avena, “Johnny, è quasi magia, Johnny
riprova di nuovo, Johnny e come sempre riuscirai” – Johnny, it is almost magic, Johnny, try it again, and, as always, you will make it”. It is an instillation of power, magic and hope for the future.

As Johnny, Peter Pan and Robin Hood were pure characters of strength, defenders of freedom and humans, as Batman, Superman, all Heroes able to protect us and imagine the infinite possibilities of the future ahead of us. I always remember what Nelson Mandela when it affirmed “ There is no passion to be found in playing small, in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.

If it is true that we only live once (for now, in this body and on this planet) we must fully experience what comes, work towards our dreams and never end to love and to enjoy people and places around us. With curiosity in our hearts and an immense desire to discover and embrace the unknown. Without forgetting to give a smile and to sing songs. Fighting for our ideals of freedom, peace and common global solidarity and never ever stop dreaming.
