Aqui todos estamos, bajo el mismo Sol

21st of June ticks as the first summer day of the year ( and my dad’s birthday 🙂 ) Everyone ready to swim, wear bikinis, eat more gelatos, go out in the air, breathe, get some sun, and turn off the work clock for a couple of weeks to energize and pump up again. I was listening to a new Spanish song called “El Mismo Sol” by Alvaro Soler, and it made me want to travel and sing again. He celebrates life by wishing that “el mundo se una”, that the world unites under the same sun-bajo el mismo sol- encouraging his lover to celebrate with him the planet, while believing that what she wants to be, she can be, because there are no borders “no hay fronteras, serà lo que tu quieras, se puede amor”. it is worth it, if only we leave the bad behind us “saca lo malo, vale la pena mi amor”.

What about dipping your toes in the fountain, reading a book under the Spanish sun? Plane+Sun+Water+Colors+Roses ( time is a mind perception)

Life is a whirlwind of emotions, of waves of the sea and of happiness and suffering, all in once, in the same world, in each human being, who is- per sé– a world in itself who wakes up everyday to challenge happenings, learn, grow and consciously learn and understand who he/she is in the planet. It reminds me of the Confucianism philosophy of thinking and of acting/reacting to life happenings: the philosophy of dynamic change and organismic unity is represented by Yin and Yang, two energies that interact in the universe, complementary to one another. The Chinese terms yÄ«n é™° or 阴 “shady side” and yáng 陽 or 阳 “sunny side” are semantically complex words.

Here a representation of the yinyang 陰陽 or 阴阳 meaning “opposites” :
meaning yin&yang

Therefore in each one of us there is night, cold, moon, calm and death, and there is day, warm, sun, energy, birth. We are part of the same circle and we live up by ups and downs of the same fluid. The good way of living- according to the Chinese philosophy, is to find the right balance between the sun and the moon, the happiness and the suffering, between mind and heart, chaos and order. In life everything is mixed, so there is dark in light and energy in slow motion. A good fruit mixer, as a gentle friend of mine told me once, is useful to shake fruit up, add milk, sugar and yogurt and get a yummy fruit smoothie.

If we are able to perceive, internalize, analyze, understand, accept and combine all these elements inside our souls, we transform this chaos in creativity and we unleash our energy in the best possible and positive way for society.

balance is the key to life

As a Libra sign speaker and writer, i hold on to righteousness, justice, ethics principles, positivity and trust. I believe we are the center of our small worlds, but islands that cannot live alone, in the middle of the ocean. We need to be in society to change it and improve it for the better, for us and for the next generations to come, but- as the words of Lao Tzu assert- “At the center of your being you have the answer: You know who you are and you know what you want”.

So, let’s act accordingly.

Muchos besos de Madrid y feliz semana!
